What We Do
Mini-Laboratory for Primary Schools
Experimentation and practical work form a basic block for teaching science, understanding scientific concepts and enhancing creativity and innovative skills. Unfortunately, up to now teaching science in primary schools is still being done theoretically on the chalk board.
Our mini—laboratory has teaching and learning aids that cannot be easily improvised by the teacher. It is a cost-friendly, essential and fitting alternative to the lack of laboratories in most primary schools.
Promoting Competency-Based Education
STIA advocates a competence and skill-based curriculum as opposed to a teacher- centred knowledge-based curriculum. The STIA learner-centered approach is aimed at developing learner autonomy and independence with a major focus on practices that enable lifelong learning and independent problem-solving skills through construction of projects

Promoting Literacy & Numeracy
Investment in ECD as compared other age groups offers unparalleled benefits since it fosters development of valuable skills in a generation and in turn reduces the future burden of national support on a country’s citizens.
The STI Games for Learning Kit is an edutainment package that contains unique materials aimed at making learning fun and engaging for young learners
CPD TEACHER SUPPORT PROGRAM
In the world where education needs of nations are constantly evolving to meet their social and economic needs, it is necessary for teachers to stay up to date with innovations in teaching materials and pedagogy and gain necessary professional knowledge and most effective teaching skills.
INTEGRATION OF ICT IN CLASSROOM TEACHING/LEARNING PRACTICES
Integrating ICT into the teaching and learning process is in line with global 21st Century Education Trends, and also the Education Digital Agenda Strategy 2021–2025 was developed to further support integration of ICT in education programs
PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY MESSAGES IN EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Traditionally, reading material in schools has always been structured to hone learner’s reading skills while helping them develop emotional and moral development. Reading can be informative, opening doors to all kinds of new worlds for learners thus promoting imagination and creativity.
Youth Skilling Program
The Youth are crucial in socio-economic transformation of a country as a workforce that will drive economic growth and development. This is especially true for developing countries in which the youth form the largest percentage of the population. In Uganda about 78% of the population are youth. According to statistics from the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (Ubos), while unemployment rate stands at 3.5%, for youth is much higher at 32.2% and it is worst for graduates at 36%.
